Iran and the Arab World

Two Sides of Islam

Iran and Saudi Arabia are rivals that represent the two sects of Islam and the tension between the two countries sets the tone in the region. A cold war between the two breaks out every few years. Here I am in the Jāmeh Mosque of Isfahān that dates back to the Umayyad dynasty, circa 661-750.
